Vallinfreda Polenta Festival

The 27th edition

The 27th Vallinfreda Polenta Festival was held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, in the setting of Piazza del Mercato. From 12:00 PM, the polenta, prepared according to local traditional recipes, was served on wooden scifette along with a grilled sausage sandwich, vegetables, and a glass of wine, for 15 euros per person, including the scifetta.

A new feature of the day was the morning guided hike on the Monti Ruffi, organized in collaboration with the APS Amici dei Monti Ruffi, which allowed nature enthusiasts to discover the trails around the village before lunch in the square. Reservations were recommended through the Pro Loco Vallinfreda, which, in this edition as well, drew visitors from all over the region to the small town in the province of Rome.
