Revving engines and united hearts: the Ciociaria charity motorcycle rally dedicated to Tommaso
In the landscape of summer events in Ciociaria, Vallecorsa in Moto - For Tommaso holds a special place. It is not just a simple motorcycle parade: it is a community celebration born in 2024 on the initiative of the Moto Club Vallecorsa, led by president Marco Ferracci, with a goal declared from the very first edition: to raise funds to support associations that offer assistance to families with children on the autism spectrum. The roar of engines thus becomes the language of concrete solidarity, capable of uniting motorcyclists, families, and curious onlookers in an evening of collective celebration.
The name of the event is no coincidence: the festival is dedicated to Tommaso, a young two-wheel enthusiast who has led the parade over the years as a symbolic figure of the celebration. The entire community of Vallecorsa has rallied around him and his family, and the organizers' invitation has always been clear: not only motorcycle enthusiasts, but everyone who wants to provide concrete help is welcome. It is this inclusive spirit that makes the event one of the most heartfelt evenings of the Vallecorsa summer.
The most anticipated moment is the motorcycle parade: dozens of bikers meet in the surrounding area — for the 2026 edition, the gathering was set at the Bar Quattro Strade in Castro dei Volsci — and from there, they set off in a column towards Vallecorsa, riding through the town streets until they reach Piazza Plebiscito, the beating heart of the evening. Here, the party continues with food stalls, DJ sets, and live music: in 2026, the stage was hosted by Club Mario, a Ligabue tribute band, while in 2025, the square danced to 90s-2000s dance hits. Great attention is also paid to the little ones, with puppet shows and juggling acts designed for families.
The proceeds from the event are donated to associations that support families with autistic children and local social inclusion projects. In an era where autism awareness often relies on large national campaigns, Vallecorsa in Moto proves that even a small village can do its part, transforming a shared passion — for motorcycles — into a gesture of real closeness.
The setting for the event is the Municipality of Vallecorsa, a medieval village nestled in the Ausoni Mountains, in the Province of Frosinone, on the southern border of Lazio. A land of terraced olive groves and peasant traditions, Vallecorsa offers visitors stone alleys, the charming Piazza Plebiscito, and views that stretch as far as the Fondi plain. Participating in the event is also an opportunity to discover one of the most authentic corners of Ciociaria, halfway between Frosinone and the sea of lower Lazio.
The third edition of Vallecorsa in Moto - For Tommaso confirmed the formula that has made the event one of the most anticipated appointments of the summer in Ciociaria: motorcycles, music, and solidarity. Promoted by the Moto Club Vallecorsa with president Marco Ferracci, the evening of Saturday, June 20, 2026, enlivened Piazza Plebiscito with a program designed for all ages.
The afternoon opened with entertainment dedicated to children — the puppet show by L'Allegra Compagnia and a juggling performance — followed by the musical opening entrusted to Micky G.DJ. At 8:00 PM, the motorcyclists met at Bar Quattro Strade in Castro dei Volsci for the start of the parade towards Vallecorsa: the ride crossed the town streets to Piazza Plebiscito, welcomed by the applause of the community. The party continued with food stalls and the concert by Club Mario - Ligabue Tribute, all with the goal of raising funds for associations that assist families with children on the autism spectrum.
By car: Vallecorsa can be reached via the SR 637 Frosinone-Gaeta road; it is about 40 minutes from Frosinone and about 25 minutes from Fondi. Recommended A1 motorway exit: Frosinone or Ceprano.
By train: the nearest stations are Fondi-Sperlonga (Rome-Naples line via Formia) and Frosinone (Rome-Cassino line), then continue by car or COTRAL bus.
The evening takes place outdoors in Piazza Plebiscito and along the town streets; access to the festival is free. During the motorcycle parade, some streets in the center may be temporarily closed to traffic.
