Edition 2025 — Traditional Salame Festival
The 2025 Val Trompia Traditional Salame Festival took place on Sunday, October 19, in San Colombano di Collio (Province of Brescia), along via Bondegno, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The day, organized by the Pro Loco of Collio, began with a spectacular demonstration of pork processing, from grinding to stuffing, and continued with an exhibition by butchers, the salame tying competition with awards, Brescia-style spit-roasted meat with polenta, accordion music, and stalls selling local products. This edition confirmed the festival as one of the most cherished gastronomic events in the upper Val Trompia.
