Culture Accessible to All
The University of Free Time of Conselve, in the Bassa Padovana area of the province of Padova, is a series of conferences and cultural insights open to everyone, with no age or educational requirements. Promoted by the Municipal Library and the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Conselve, it is a regular fixture of the city's cultural life throughout autumn and winter.
A Rich and Varied Program
The meetings are held every Friday afternoon at 4:00 PM in Sala Dante and cover a wide range of disciplines: history and local history, art, literature, philosophy, music, geography, mythology, famous figures, technology, health, the environment, and historical anniversaries. The 2025-2026 cycle includes approximately thirty sessions, from October until mid-May.
Guided Tours and Local Culture
The conference program is complemented by guided tours of exhibitions and cultural sites in Veneto and surrounding areas. Among the destinations for the 2025-2026 edition are the Padua murals, the exhibition dedicated to Chagall in Ferrara, Villa Valmarana ai Nani in Vicenza, and the Vallevecchia Oasis in Brussa. The final lecture is held at Villa La Mincana.
