The Return of a Tradition
After fifteen years of absence, the Festa dell'Unità returns to Brescia, at Parco Castelli. Promoted by the Municipal Union of the Democratic Party, it resumes the thread of a historic tradition of Italian political festivals, made of public debate, culture, and outdoor conviviality.
A Week of Meetings
For a week, the festival area comes alive with political meetings, music, theater, books, and debates. The program alternates discussions on current issues with cultural and entertainment moments, featuring national guests, local administrators, artists, and representatives from the associative world. It's an opportunity for participation and discussion open to the public.
Cities, Environment, Future
The debates revolve around the major issues of the present: the role of cities in the Lombardy of tomorrow, the environment and sustainability, the future of communities. The meetings bring together politicians, administrators, and experts in a discussion that looks beyond local borders while remaining rooted in the reality of Brescia.
Conviviality at Parco Castelli
The festival takes place entirely at Parco Castelli, in the Mompiano district, with a show arena, refreshment area, bookstore, and ecopoint. The format, typical of Festa dell'Unità, combines the political dimension with conviviality: people discuss, listen to music, and dine together, in one of Brescia's most popular parks. A way to bring public debate back into an open and popular space.
Unity Festival — edition 2026
From June 1 to 7, 2026, Parco Castelli hosts the Festa dell'Unità of Brescia, promoted by the Municipal Union of the Democratic Party, returning to the city after a fifteen-year absence. A week of political meetings, music, theater, books, debates, and cultural initiatives, with national guests and local administrators.
The inauguration is on Monday, June 1 at 6:30 PM with "A festival for the city." Among the events are meetings dedicated to the cities of Lombardy's future and the environment, on World Environment Day.

Monday, June 1
- 6:30 PM — Inauguration "A festival for the city," with PD city secretary Roberto Cammarata and Lombardy PD regional secretary Silvia Roggiani
- Opening with Massimo Giannini, columnist for Repubblica, presenting the book "La Sciamana"
Wednesday, June 3
- Meeting with the mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala and Emilio Del Bono, on the theme of cities in Lombardy's future
Friday, June 5
- Meeting with Pierfrancesco Maran, president of the European Parliament's Environment Committee, on the occasion of World Environment Day
