A journey into Leffe's memory
Un tuffo nel passato is the folk event that brings back to life the traditions and memories of Leffe, a town in Val Seriana in the Province of Bergamo. Organised by the association Leffe Giovani, in 2026 it reaches its second edition and offers a day dedicated to nostalgia and the rediscovery of the town's roots.
The Fiat 500 gathering
The heart of the afternoon is the gathering of vintage Fiat 500s, produced between 1957 and 1977: the iconic Italian city cars will meet in Piazza della Libertà from 4:00 PM, followed by a parade along the town's streets. A spectacle that revives the Italy of the economic boom and attracts vintage car enthusiasts from all over the valley.
The Corsa de Zèrc
In the evening, from 8:00 PM, the re-enactment of the Corsa de Zèrc takes place, the ancient hoop race. It's a game of the past — children used to race by pushing a metal hoop with a special stick — that enlivened the town's streets in the Sixties, born as a youth competition promoted by a local priest, Don Pietro Selogni. Its re-enactment brings a piece of Leffe's popular history back to the square.
Nostalgia and community
Amidst vintage cars, old-fashioned games, and moments of socialising, Un tuffo nel passato celebrates Leffe's collective memory and the joy of being together. It is an event that values local traditions and involves the entire community, in the heart of Val Seriana and the Lombardy Region.

"Un tuffo nel passato" 2026, the second edition, takes place on Saturday, June 6, in the centre of Leffe, in Val Seriana, organised by Leffe Giovani. The event runs from 4:00 PM until late evening.
The afternoon is dedicated to the gathering of vintage Fiat 500s, produced between 1957 and 1977, with a meeting point in Piazza della Libertà and a parade through the village streets. In the evening, from 8:00 PM, the re-enactment of the "Corsa de Zèrc", the ancient hoop race that enlivened Leffe's streets in the Sixties, takes place.
