About Saint Joseph Festival of Vidor

One of the oldest festivals in the Marca Trevigiana: Vidor's Ultracentenarian Saint Joseph Festival combines tradition and novelty in nine days of celebration. Venetian cuisine with spit roast as the star, commercial and agricultural fair, guided tours of the historic Vidor Abbey, a funfair, and a rich musical program with concerts and tribute bands. A spring event organized by Pro Loco La Vidorese.

A festival that has lasted for over a century

The Ultracentenarian Saint Joseph Festival is one of the most deeply rooted celebrations in Vidor (province of Treviso) and throughout the Marca Trevigiana. Organized by Pro Loco La Vidorese, it takes place at the Vidor Multipurpose Centre and in various locations around the town, blending popular tradition with new offerings.

Spit roast, fair, and Abbey

The undisputed star of the cuisine is the spit roast, alongside other traditional Venetian recipes. The festival features a commercial and agricultural fair with an exhibition of agricultural machinery, vintage cars, and local associations, as well as guided tours of the evocative Vidor Abbey, also available in English and French, with proceeds supporting charitable works.

Music and fun for everyone

The musical program ranges from acoustic concerts to tribute bands, with evenings dedicated to Nomadi and Pink Floyd, and closing with a DJ set. For families, there's a funfair, a soap bubble show, and activities designed for children, in a festival that enlivens Vidor for nine days in spring.
