Dust, steel and heart: a journey through time on the roads of the Bassa bergamasca
Treì'n Bici is the vintage cycling race in Treviglio, in the province of Bergamo, celebrating vintage cycling with the motto Dust, steel and heart. A journey through time. Steel bicycles, wool jerseys, and vintage clothing create a picturesque scene, transporting participants back to the heroic era of cycling on the roads of the Bassa bergamasca.
The event offers two routes. The short route, flat and easy, is designed for families and amateur cyclists who want to enjoy the experience without exertion. The long route, on the other hand, alternates between asphalt and unpaved white roads, passing through charming villages and scenic spots. For the latter, in the Eroica style, bicycles built before 1987 (or vintage replicas) with steel frames, downtube shifters, and pedals with toe clips and straps are required.
Registration includes the race bib, refreshment stops along the route with local products, and the final pasta party. More than a competition, Treì'n Bici is a grand celebration of vintage cycling, where spirit and the pleasure of riding together are what count.
The cycling race is the highlight of a broader calendar of initiatives that, in the preceding weeks, offers activities for families in Treviglio, including rides and themed events. It's an opportunity to rediscover the Bassa bergamasca region at a slow pace, aboard a bicycle from yesteryear.
The fourth edition of Treì'n Bici is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2026, in Treviglio. The vintage cycling race offers two routes, a short and flat one suitable for families, and a long one that alternates between asphalt and white roads, in full Eroica style with bicycles built before 1987.
Registration includes the race bib, local refreshments, and a final pasta party. The event is preceded by a week of initiatives for families in Treviglio.
Start and finish in Treviglio (BG), with routes in the Bassa bergamasca region.

For the long route, pre-1987 bikes (or vintage replicas) in Eroica style are required.
