Edition 2025 — Salame Nobile del Giarolo Festival

The 22nd edition of the Traveling Festival of the Salame Nobile del Giarolo took place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, in Berzano di Tortona, for the first time in this village. The day combined an afternoon masterclass with ONAS tasters and an evening festival with tastings, live music, and the election of the best salami of the year.

The 22nd edition was held in Berzano di Tortona on July 20, 2025. In the afternoon, at Palazzo Busseti, a masterclass with ONAS (National Organization of Salami Tasters) took place, featuring a blind tasting of salamis from different producers, formats, and aging periods.

From 8:00 PM, the free-entry festival began, featuring tastings of salamis paired with DOC Colli Tortonesi and DOCG Gavi wines, the voting for the "Best Giarolo 2025", the "Ambassador of the Salame Nobile del Giarolo" award, and musical entertainment. 11 Consortium producers and 9 wineries were present, along with breweries and food trucks. The complete tasting package (3 wines + 5 sandwiches) cost 20 euros.
