Traditionelles Herbstfest / Traditional Autumn Festival

52nd edition — September 13 and 14, 2025

The 52nd Traditionelles Herbstfest was held in Tirolo (Dorf Tirol), in the province of Bolzano, on the weekend of September 13 and 14, 2025, at the village Festplatz.

Saturday, September 13 (from 6:00 PM): Opening with the traditional torchlight procession (Fackelumzug), music, and dancing under the festival marquees.

Sunday, September 14 (from 11:00 AM): Frühschoppen with the village band, followed by the grand festive parade with decorated floats depicting rural life — including the apple crown and the giant bunch of grapes — along with marching bands, costumed groups, and Haflinger riders. This was followed by a concert by the Musikkapelle Dorf Tirol with flag-throwers and traditional dances by the Volkstanzgruppe, with children's entertainment and typical cuisine until evening.

Sunday, September 14, 2025

• From 11:00 AM — Frühschoppen (morning aperitif) with the village band
• Afternoon — Grand festive parade (Festumzug) with decorated farm floats, marching bands, costumed groups, and Haflinger riders
• After the parade — Concert by the Musikkapelle Dorf Tirol with flag-throwers
• Following — Traditional dances by the Volkstanzgruppe Dorf Tirol folk group
• All day — Children's entertainment and typical South Tyrolean cuisine
