The artisanal wine festival at Palazzo Tronconi in Arce, Ciociaria
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Every autumn, the vast park of Palazzo Tronconi in Arce, in the province of Frosinone, transforms into a meeting point for true wine enthusiasts. Tra Vino e Tramonti is an open-air food and wine festival that gathers dozens of artisanal winemakers from Lazio and other Italian regions, with a special focus on natural, biodynamic, and ancestral wines. The event takes place in the heart of Ciociaria, a land of ancient native grape varieties and a still-vibrant rural tradition.
The heart of the event is the tasting experience: more than thirty wineries present over one hundred wines to sample freely throughout the day, from early afternoon until sunset. Alongside local producers from Lazio, you will find wineries from all over Italy, united by a commitment to minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar, respecting natural cycles. Those interested can also book a guided tour of the Palazzo Tronconi cellar, which cultivates rare local grape varieties such as Maturano, Lecinaro, Pampanaro, and Capolongo.
Tra Vino e Tramonti is about more than just wine. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy gastronomic offerings from various stands, ranging from Roman street food to dishes from the Palazzo Tronconi tavern, as well as an oyster bar featuring fresh seafood. The soundtrack is provided by live music, while artists and street artists animate the park with performances and live painting sessions. The relaxed atmosphere, the landscape of the Ciociarian hills, and the golden light of sunset make the experience as convivial as it is evocative.
Launched in 2023, the event reached its third edition in 2025, cementing its status as one of the most anticipated wine tourism appointments in the province of Frosinone and the entire southern Lazio region. The formula—selected winemakers, high-quality food, and a charming setting—has captivated an ever-growing audience of curious enthusiasts, wine lovers, and families looking for a unique Sunday dedicated to fine drinking and local discovery.
Located halfway between Rome and Naples, Arce is a small town in Lazio nestled along the Liri Valley. Its territory, part of the historic Ciociaria, preserves vineyards, olive groves, and villages that tell the story of a long agricultural vocation. Attending Tra Vino e Tramonti is also an opportunity to rediscover this authentic corner of the Lazio region, far from the most beaten tourist paths but rich in flavors and traditions.
Palazzo Tronconi has not yet announced the official date for the 2026 edition of Tra Vino e Tramonti. Based on previous editions, the event should return in October to the park of the biodynamic farm in Arce, Ciociaria. We will confirm the date and program as soon as they are available.
The event is held at Palazzo Tronconi, at Via Tramonti 83, in the Tramonti area of Arce (FR), in the Lazio region. The estate's park hosts the winemakers' stands and gastronomic areas.
By car: Arce is accessible via the A1 Rome-Naples motorway, taking the Ceprano or Pontecorvo exit, just a few minutes from the toll booth. By train: the Arce station is located on the Roccasecca-Avezzano line. From Rome, the drive takes about an hour and a half.
Admission is ticketed and includes a tasting glass. For the 2025 edition, the ticket cost 30 euros, with the option to add a cellar tour. Tickets can be purchased online via pre-sale platforms. It is recommended to check the updated rates on the Palazzo Tronconi website.
