Edition 2025 — The Trout and Verdicchio
In its previous editions as well, The Trout and Verdicchio has been one of the events that reignites the trout season in Sefro, in the Province of Macerata. The contest, promoted as part of Tipicità and GALPA Marche activities, has invited chefs, enthusiasts, and taste creatives to propose original recipes capable of highlighting trout and Verdicchio.
The formula, confirmed year after year, includes an online voting phase open to the public and a live finale, with a jury tasked with awarding technique, originality, and the ability to tell the story of the Marche region through the dish. A format that intertwines cuisine, local identity, and the promotion of freshwater supply chains, in a village where trout has always been the star.
