The enchanted Christmas village in the heart of Rome's EUR district
Every year, as winter arrives, Luneur Park in Rome dons its festive attire and transforms into the Kingdom of Christmas, a vast enchanted village covering over 2,600 square meters in the EUR district, in the municipality of Rome, Lazio. It is one of the most beloved Christmas events for families in the capital: a fairytale journey that delights visitors of all ages from December 6th through Epiphany, filled with lights, faux snow, and creatures from the Ice Kingdom.
Once you pass through the Magic Portal, you enter a world of snowy paths, illuminated avenues, glowing tunnels, giant Christmas baubles, sparkling spheres, snowmen, and magical sleighs pulled by friendly reindeer. The experience is designed primarily for children, ranging from toddlers (1-3 years old) up to 12-year-olds, but it also captivates adults thanks to the meticulously curated atmosphere.
At Santa's House, children can meet Santa Claus in person, hand over their wish lists, and take a souvenir photo. Along the way, you will encounter elves, goblins, and penguins, while the face-painting station and the village post office complete the experience. The park offers over twenty attractions, many of which are suitable for younger children when accompanied by an adult.
The Kingdom of Christmas takes place inside Luneur Park, the historic EUR amusement park and one of the oldest in Italy, now reborn as a family-friendly destination. Its location in southern Rome, with excellent transport links, makes it a convenient stop for those seeking a Christmas experience different from the classic historic center markets. During the holiday season, entry to the park is free, while access to rides and attractions requires a dedicated ticket.
For the 2025/2026 edition, Luneur Park transformed into the Kingdom of Christmas from December 6, 2025, to January 6, 2026, with daily openings throughout the holiday season. The village featured the Christmas Land with Santa's House, the Garden of Wonders with its rides, and the ice skating rink, alongside elves, goblins, and light installations.
Journey through the enchanted village with the Magic Portal, snowy paths, and glowing tunnels. Meeting Santa Claus in his House, with letter delivery and souvenir photos. Ice skating in the dedicated area. Rides in the Garden of Wonders (magic helicopters, rotating hot air balloons, wacky boats, flying farms). Entertainment with elves, goblins, and penguins, face painting, and the village post office.
