The curation for the 2026 edition is entrusted to Cinema Ariston, which is reviving the beloved formula of over fifty evenings of open-air screenings.
As every year, the program alternates major hits of the season, the best of Italian and European auteur cinema, and special event nights. The cloister remains one of the most evocative settings to experience cinema on summer evenings, just a short walk from Carpi's historic center.

The detailed program for the 2026 edition, with the complete list of films for each evening, will be announced shortly before the festival begins (early July) through a dedicated booklet and the official channels of the Municipality of Carpi and VisitCarpi.
The usual structure includes:
- Opening: early July, in the cloister of San Rocco.
- Cinema of the Season: the most successful titles of the past film year.
- Auteur Cinema: a section dedicated to the best Italian and European cinema, with previews and films awarded at festivals.

How to get there
By car: Carpi is accessible from the A22 Brenner motorway (Carpi exit) and the A1 motorway (Modena Nord exit). By train: Carpi station is on the Modena–Mantova–Verona line, a short walk from the cloister.
Times and tickets
Screenings begin after sunset, generally at 9:15 PM, with the ticket office opening about an hour before. Tickets for Italian and European films are discounted thanks to the Cinema Revolution campaign. Reservations are not accepted: just show up at the box office.
