Tempu ri Capuna

The 12th edition of Tempu ri Capuna was held in San Vito Lo Capo (Trapani) from Friday, October 10 to Sunday, October 12, 2025, hosted by Stefania Renda and Ylenia Totino. The festival was organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the Fishermen's Association, the Trapani Consortium, and the Feedback agency.

It opened on Friday at 6:00 PM in Piazza Santuario with a cooking show by chef Paolo Fontana (Osteria Sanvitese) and the tavulata cu' i piscatura on Via Venza (15 euros per person). On Saturday and Sunday, boat trips with fishermen, the "Tempu ri mircatu" fish auction, and numerous cooking shows with local restaurant chefs took place. The evenings featured free concerts by Foreway (Friday), Groovy Machine (Saturday), and Season (Sunday). On Sunday morning, a meeting with WWF Sicily North West addressed the theme of marine conservation.

Friday, October 10

• 6:00 PM — Inauguration in Piazza Santuario
• Cooking show with chef Paolo Fontana (Osteria Sanvitese)
• Tavulata cu' i piscatura on Via Venza (15 euros: busiate with Trapani pesto, fried mahi-mahi, yellow melon, Sicilian pastries, and wine)
• 10:00 PM — Concert by Foreway (free entry)

Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12

• 9:00 AM-1:30 PM — Boat trips with fishermen (35 euros, by reservation, departing from the breakwater pier)
• Tempu ri mircatu — fish auction in Piazza Santuario
• Cooking shows with local restaurant chefs (Laccialoro, Trionfo di Gola, Rais, Crik & Crok, Lo Stagnone, La Carbonella)
• 10:00 PM — Concerts: Groovy Machine (Saturday), Season (Sunday)

Sunday, October 12

• 11:00 AM — Meeting with WWF Sicily North West on marine conservation

Guests included: Ninni Ravazza (maritime traditions), nutritionist Sergio La Sala, and Ernesto Raccagna. Table service was provided by students from the Pietro Piazza Hotel School in Palermo.

The tavulata cu' i piscatura with traditional mahi-mahi dishes, the fish auction in the square, and free evening concerts by Foreway, Groovy Machine, and Season.
