The season of prose, dialect theatre, and live podcasts of Fabriano's off-theatre
The Teatro San Giovanni Bosco is an independent theatre space in the centre of Fabriano, in the province of Ancona, in the Marche region. Located on Via Don Giuseppe Riganelli, it is managed by the company Youteller, led by Fabio Bernacconi, which has relaunched its programming, transforming it into a reference point for Fabriano's cultural scene. Its annual theatre season, running from October to June, is one of the richest and most varied offerings in the city of paper.
The season is divided into three distinct strands, designed for different audiences and tastes:
Alongside the official programme, the theatre offers workshops, staged readings, acting courses, and hosts productions by local companies and associations, confirming its role as a community theatre.
Youteller's philosophy is to give the San Giovanni Bosco back to the citizens of Fabriano: a place where national prose coexists with the dialect of the Marche region and the new forms of live podcasting. Dialect theatre, in particular, preserves the oral tradition of the area, while Prose brings well-known names in Italian comedy and theatre to the city. A season that speaks to families, young people, and enthusiasts, with accessible ticket prices and subscription options designed to build audience loyalty.
The Teatro San Giovanni Bosco is located at Via Don Giuseppe Riganelli 1 in Fabriano, easily accessible from the historic centre. Fabriano, world-renowned for its ancient paper production and recognized as a UNESCO Creative City, offers visitors an ideal setting to combine an evening at the theatre with a discovery of the town.
The 2025/26 season of the Teatro San Giovanni Bosco in Fabriano, curated by Youteller and directed by Fabio Bernacconi, offered three complementary programmes from October 2025 to June 2026.
The Prose (ten shows) alternated comedy, musicals, and emotions, while the Dialect "Nojaltri" strand (seven events) brought back the Marche popular tradition with local companies. The live podcast Autovelox opened the season on October 6th with RAI sports commentator Francesco Repice. Spring featured musicals, children's theatre, and productions by local associations, culminating in a grand finale in June.
Seven events with dialect companies from Fabriano and surrounding areas, featuring proverbs, irony, and Marche popular memory.
Live evenings with national and local guests; opening on October 6th with RAI sports commentator Francesco Repice.
