Edition 2025 — Tavolate di San Giuseppe

The 2025 edition marked the first 'Tavola del Santo' in Piazza Cavour, Favara: on March 19, local schools set up votive tables, while students' families cooked traditional festival dishes alongside votive breads and sweets linked to the cult of Saint Joseph. The 'Ambrosini-King' Institute prepared the Saint Joseph soup in ten large 'callarune' pots.

2025 Edition

On March 19, 2025, the Tavolate di San Giuseppe returned to Piazza Cavour in Favara with a renewed format, remembered as the "first Table of the Saint." The city's schools, of all levels, each set up a stand with their own votive table, richly decorated with images of the Saint and the Holy Family.

In the afternoon, students' families contributed by cooking typical dishes for the celebration, alongside characteristic votive breads and sweets linked to the cult of Saint Joseph. The "Ambrosini-King" Institute prepared the symbolic dish of the day, the Saint Joseph soup, cooked in ten large callarune with various types of pasta, legumes, and vegetables. A day of faith and sharing that consolidated the tradition in the heart of the Agrigento town.
