Supermagic, the great magic festival in Rome

Supermagic is Italy's most important international magic festival and one of the most prestigious in Europe. Every winter, it transforms a theater in the capital into a universe suspended between dream and reality, where the world's greatest illusionists, prestidigitators, and manipulators share the stage for over two hours of live performance. Conceived and directed by Remo Pannain, a Roman lawyer and refined magician, the event is recognized as the "Best Magic Show" by the International Federation of Magic Societies (FISM).

The 2026 edition: "Elements"

The twenty-second edition, titled "Elements," takes place at the Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome from January 22 to February 8, 2026. The theme is inspired by the four elements—air, water, fire, and earth—evoked through the arts of magic: grand illusions, manipulation, sleight of hand, and innovative acts come together in a show that blends wonder, music, and emotion.

An international cast

The stage features champions from all over the world. Announced headliners include Canadian illusionist Darcy Oake, European manipulation champion Maurice Grange (Germany), the visionary Xavier Mortimer (France), the Finnish duo Jay & Jade Niemi, two-time world champion Topas, Italian performers Paolo Carta & Sara, Matteo Fraziano (winner of "Tu sì que vales"), and comic magician Jimmy Delp. Closing the show, as always, is Remo Pannain himself.

A Roman winter tradition

Founded in 2005, Supermagic has become a staple of the cultural calendar of Rome and the entire Lazio region. Over more than twenty editions, it has showcased over 120 artists to hundreds of thousands of spectators, cementing its status as the country's largest illusionism festival. Each year, the festival changes its theme—from "Arcane" to "Elements"—completely refreshing the cast and the acts on display.

With a runtime of over two hours and a universal language of wonder and humor, Supermagic is designed for audiences of all ages: an experience that makes adults feel like children again and gives the little ones their first, unforgettable encounter with magic.
