Summer Time, the Galliate community festival
Summer Time – The Community Festival is a summer event that the Municipality of Galliate, in the province of Novara (Piedmont), dedicates to the themes of social connection, inclusion, and participation. Born from the local Youth Policy program, the festival is organized by the Municipal Departments for Youth Policies and Events and Social Policies, in co-organization with the youth association Gi.Ga Club, which is highly active in promoting initiatives for local young people.
An evening in the Quadriportico of the Castello Sforzesco
The event takes place in the scenic Quadriportico of the Castello Sforzesco, one of Galliate's iconic landmarks, which comes alive for an evening of music, conversation, and shared moments until late at night. Admission is designed to be accessible to everyone, with a program that balances reflection and entertainment.
Talks, shows, and DJ sets
At the heart of the festival is a program that blends substance with entertainment. The evening kicks off with an inclusive talk titled "Parole" (Words), a space for discussion on topics related to rights, equal opportunities, and well-being, created in collaboration with local associations such as AGEDO Novara, NovarArcobaleno, and SerMais. The event continues with live performances and a DJ set that keeps the crowd dancing until late, in an atmosphere of celebration and community spirit.
Food & drink area
Throughout the event, a food & drink area is available, offering dinner options, a cocktail bar, as well as gelato and granitas: the perfect way to enjoy a summer evening outdoors in the historic center of Galliate.
A festival for the community
More than just a series of performances, Summer Time is a project that puts the community at the center: an opportunity for the young people of Galliate and the West Ticino area to meet, get to know each other, and actively participate in local life, within an open and inclusive context that has now become a highly anticipated date in the Novara summer calendar.

Summer Time 2026, the second edition
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, from 7:00 PM to midnight, the Quadriportico of the Castello Sforzesco in Galliate hosts the second edition of Summer Time – The Community Festival, with a program dedicated to social connection, inclusion, and participation.
The evening's program
- 7:30 PM – "Parole", an inclusive talk moderated by Sarah Verzì and Mattia Coppola, with guests Jacopo Rosatelli (Councilor for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Turin), Vito Pascale (influencer), and Giulia Alleva (psychotherapist).
- 9:00 PM – Live drag queen show with P3nny Kella and Madame Pepi.
- 10:00 PM – DJ set by Alwaysinparty.
The evening is organized in collaboration with the associations AGEDO Novara, NovarArcobaleno, SerMais, and Gi.Ga Club of Galliate. Throughout the event, a food & drink area is available with dinner options, a cocktail bar, gelato, and granitas.

Getting there
Galliate is located along the Novara-Milan axis in the West Ticino area. By car, it is easily accessible from the A4 Turin-Milan motorway (Novara Est or Marcallo-Mesero exits) and the Sempione state road. By train, the reference station is Galliate on the Novara-Domodossola line, or the Novara station, which is well-connected to the rest of Piedmont and Lombardy.
