About StraStezzano

Every January, the streets of Stezzano, in the province of Bergamo, fill with walkers and runners for StraStezzano, a non-competitive walk for charity organized by ASD Atletica Stezzano. Starting from the Le Due Torri Shopping Center, four flat routes of 7, 9, 13.5, and 18 kilometers along low-traffic secondary roads, and one single great motivation: running for others. Behind the name is the 'Corriamo per Loro' project, which in over ten years has involved more than 25,000 participants and raised over 120,000 euros for local solidarity initiatives. A winter event that combines sport, community, and generosity.

A walk that runs for others

The StraStezzano is the historic non-competitive walk of Stezzano, in the province of Bergamo, organized every January by ASD Atletica Stezzano with the patronage of the Municipality. It is not a race in the traditional sense: people walk and run to be together and, above all, to support a good cause. The event is the heart of the solidarity project Corriamo per Loro ("We Run for Them"), which links each edition to local charitable initiatives.

The numbers of a story over ten years long

Since its inception, StraStezzano has involved over 25,000 participants and has allowed the donation of more than 120,000 euros to support various solidarity initiatives. The 2026 edition is the twelfth of the event and the eleventh of the Corriamo per Loro project: numbers that tell of deep roots in the community of Stezzano and the Bergamasca region.

The routes

The walk offers four flat routes, suitable for both walkers and more trained runners:

  • 7 km — the shortest route, ideal for families and beginners;
  • 9 km;
  • 13.5 km;
  • 18 km — the most challenging route.

The routes are mainly developed on low-traffic secondary roads, in the plain around Stezzano.

Start and meeting point

The start is set at the Le Due Torri Shopping Center, in via Guzzanica 62/64, an easily accessible meeting point with ample parking. Departures are free within the morning hours, according to the formula of non-competitive walks.

Sport and solidarity in Stezzano
