About StraMilano2
A race for the whole community
StraMilano2 is the non-competitive running race that enlivens the Milano2 district, in the Municipality of Segrate, in the Province of Milan, every year. Not to be confused with the more famous Stramilano (the capital's half marathon), StraMilano2 is a district event, designed to involve residents and families in a day of sport and fun.
Three routes for everyone
The format is open to all ages and levels:
- 200 meters — for kindergarten children;
- 800 meters — for primary school children;
- 5 km — the classic route, open to everyone.
The grand finale of the Spring Festival
StraMilano2 is the concluding event of the Spring Festival organized by the Milano2 Residents Association: a weekend of sport, games, musical entertainment, and good food, with inflatable structures for children, tournaments, shows, and festive moments for the entire district.
Sport and community
More than a race, StraMilano2 is a community celebration: a Sunday in May when the Milano2 district of Segrate fills with people running, walking, and cheering, in an atmosphere of participation that combines sport and social life just a stone's throw from Milan.
StraMilano2 — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of StraMilano2 takes place on Sunday, May 17, starting at 9:30 AM from the Milano2 district in Segrate. The non-competitive race, open to all, offers three routes and concludes the Spring Festival of the Milano2 Residents Association. In case of rain, the event is postponed to May 30-31.

The Spring Festival
StraMilano2 concludes the Milano2 Spring Festival: a weekend with tournaments, inflatable structures for children, foam party, magic shows, creative workshops, dance performances, rugby lessons for kids, and a food area. Race start on Sunday at 9:30 AM.
