Every year, starting from May 1st, the villa inaugurates its cultural season: a rich program that accompanies visitors throughout the beautiful season, until autumn. It ranges from guided tours of the nymphaeum and Italian gardens, with the activation of the historic water features, to thematic visits in the palace halls, up to the evocative "Nymphaeum under the stars", the evening opening that offers a magical atmosphere.
Ninfeamus + Wunder Mrkt
Among the most beloved events is Ninfeamus + Wunder Mrkt, the "market of wonders" that brings handmade, vintage, and creative exhibitors to the villa's gardens, in two editions during the season. The day combines creative shopping, atmosphere, and the opportunity to visit the nymphaeum, in a formula that attracts families and enthusiasts.
Music, exhibitions, and beauty
The season also offers ancient music concerts with the "Musica e Stravaganze" series, art exhibitions, creative workshops, and themed visits dedicated to the villa's historical figures. A program that makes Villa Litta one of the most vibrant cultural hubs in the Region of Lombardy, just a few minutes from Milan.

The 2026 cultural season of Villa Visconti Borromeo Litta in Lainate kicks off on May 1st, with the reopening of the villa to the public and the start of guided tours of the baroque nymphaeum and its historic water features.
