Two weekends of music, flavors, and Carnival by Night at the parish of Saccolongo
The Spring Festival is the major event that the parish of Santa Maria Assunta in Saccolongo, in the province of Padua, organizes between the end of May and the beginning of June. Spread over two weekends, the festival combines conviviality, music, and gastronomy, enlivening the town center for several days.
The most spectacular moment is the "Saccolongo Carnival by Night": a night parade of allegorical floats that traverse the streets of the center, offering an unusual spectacle of lights and colors for the spring season. An event that draws crowds from all over the Paduan territory.
Every evening the festival offers live music and shows, accompanied by the opening of the food stand. On the menu are traditional Venetian dishes, pizza service, draft beer, and a selection of wines from the Euganean Hills, the hills that characterize this corner of the province. Organized by the parish with the NOI Circle, it is one of the most beloved events in the Saccolongo community.
From May 29 to June 7, 2026 (with a break on June 3 and 4), the Santa Maria Assunta parish in Saccolongo hosts the Spring Festival. Two weekends of music, shows, and gastronomic specialties, with a program designed for conviviality. Among the highlights is the Saccolongo Carnival by Night on Saturday, May 30.
