About Spring Festival
A festival that goes around the world
The Spring Festival is the major city event of Nova Milanese, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, which inaugurates the warmer season. The format is a widespread thematic route: each year the festival chooses a common thread - recently "traveling the world" - and sets up areas dedicated to different cultures and continents in the city squares.
Squares, flavors, and music
Walking through the center, visitors move from one world to another: international cuisines, cocktails, dances, live concerts, photographic exhibitions, and activities for children. Each square has its own atmosphere, from Latin music to exotic flavors, in a succession of offerings that liven up the evening from late afternoon until midnight.
The lively city center
Organized by the Municipality of Nova Milanese together with the Distretto Unico del Commercio (Unified Commerce District), the Spring Festival is also an opportunity to promote the commercial activities in the center, with shops open and businesses involved. It is one of the most attended events of the year in Nova Milanese, capable of attracting visitors from all over the Brianza region for an evening of celebration, taste, and culture.
Spring Festival — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Spring Festival takes place on Saturday, May 16, from 5:00 PM to midnight, with the theme "traveling the world". The center of Nova Milanese transforms into a thematic route through the squares, each dedicated to a different culture, with stalls, international cuisine, live music, and shows. The event is promoted by the Municipality of Nova Milanese and the Distretto Unico del Commercio.
Programme Spring Festival 2026
Saturday, May 16, 2026, 5:00 PM — midnight. Thematic route through the center:
- America (Piazza Gioia) — pony rides and face painting for children.
- Orient (courtyard of Villa Brivio) — photographic exhibition "Ladakh – Little Tibet", Tibetan bells, and oriental tea tastings.
- Mexico (Piazza Viviani) — "Fiesta Mexicana" with food and cocktails.
- Middle East (Villa Brivio) — oriental and tribal fusion dances.
- South America (Piazza Cortelunga) — Argentine tango and music from 8:00 PM.
- Caribbean (Piazza Marconi) — live Cuban music with "Mano Dura" from 9:00 PM to midnight.
Along the route: stalls, themed food, and live entertainment.
