Tradition, folklore, and zero-km flavors in the village of Monte Giberto
The Spring Festival is the event with which Monte Giberto, a hilltop village in the Province of Fermo in the Marche region, welcomes the arrival of the beautiful season. Founded in 2025 on the initiative of the Pro Loco Monte Giberto APS, the festival transforms the historic center into a widespread path of scents, flavors, and traditions, designed for all ages.
The heart of the event is the promotion of local excellences and zero-kilometer products. Throughout the day, in the village streets, you can watch and participate in the traditional frying, while stalls and food points offer local specialties such as cacciannanze and street sweets. The festival is also an opportunity to rediscover the crafts of the past, from the communal oven to popular games.
Organized by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the municipal administration and local associations, the Spring Festival is a day designed to showcase Monte Giberto and its community spirit in a convivial and family-friendly atmosphere.
Included in the calendar of spring events in the Marche region, the festival is an ideal occasion for a day trip to the hills of the Province of Fermo, to discover an authentic village and its community.
The second edition of the Spring Festival in Monte Giberto took place on the weekend of May 16 and 17, 2026, organized by Pro Loco Monte Giberto APS together with the municipal administration and local associations. The formula of the first edition was confirmed, with the promotion of zero-kilometer products and local traditions in the historic center.
The Marche events calendar confirmed the dates of May 16 and 17, 2026 for the second edition of the Spring Festival in Monte Giberto. The detailed program of the event was released by the Pro Loco through its social media channels closer to the event.
Following the first edition, the festival re-offered its traditional events: the walk to gather flowers and leaves, the traditional frying along the village streets, the parade of vintage tractors, and popular games in the square.
The festival takes place in the historic center of Monte Giberto (FM), in the Marche region. Activities are spread throughout the streets, squares, and spaces of the village.
By car, Monte Giberto is reachable from the Adriatic coast (A14 highway exit at Pedaso or Porto San Giorgio) by going up the Ete valley towards the Fermo hinterland. The nearest train station is on the Adriatic line, from which you can continue by car.
Admission to the activities is free; lunch is offered at a reduced price. For the updated program, it is advisable to consult the Facebook page of the Pro Loco of Monte Giberto and the Municipality's website.
