Three days of shows, workshops, and the Market Fair
The Spring Fair is one of the most historic and beloved events in Paderno Dugnano, a city in the metropolitan area of Milan. For over forty years, every spring, the city center comes alive with three days of shows, workshops, concerts, and culture, in an event that symbolically marks the arrival of the warmer season.
The heart of the fair is the traditional Market Fair, which on Sunday brings over 200 exhibitors to the city: artisans, hobbyists, agricultural businesses, and food stalls liven up the city streets in a grand celebration of colors, flavors, and crafts. It is the most attended moment of the event, capable of attracting visitors from all over northern Milan.
The program is rich and widespread: dance and hip hop performances, country line dance demonstrations, live concerts, exhibitions, and activities for children. Among the traditional events is the Mini Festival for Peace with non-stop live music and initiatives dedicated to safety and the environment. The venues involved include the Don Bosco Oratory, Piazza Falcone e Borsellino, Sala Buzzi, and the church of Santa Maria Nascente.
The Spring Fair is organized by the Spring Fair Promotional Committee, in collaboration with local associations and with the patronage of the Municipality of Paderno Dugnano, in the province of Milan. All initiatives have free admission. An event that intertwines tradition, culture, and sociality and represents one of the identity moments of city life.
