Snail Festival of Molini

The 2025 edition confirmed the tradition of the Snail Festival in Molini di Triora, inland from Imperia. Amidst the stone alleyways of the historic center, the Pro Loco stands offered snails in typical preparations — stewed with tomato, with aromatic herbs, in soup, and sautéed with garlic and parsley — accompanied by local wines, alpine cheeses, and valley desserts.

A festival with an authentic flavor, made of rustic cuisine and conviviality, which reaffirmed the snail as a symbol of a gastronomic tradition linked to the peasant life of the upper Argentina Valley.

The festival took place in the village alleyways with the opening of gastronomic stands dedicated to snails in traditional preparations, accompanied by local wines, alpine cheeses, and typical desserts, with folk music.
