About Sicilian Festival Limbiate

The Sicilian Festival and Street Food transforms Piazza Walter Tobagi in Limbiate into a corner of the island for three days. Among the stalls, arancine, pane ca' meusa, stigghiola, pasta with sardines, and traditional sweets like cannoli and cassate fill the air, accompanied by craft beers and wines. Hosting the event is the Palermitan actor Tony Sperandeo, present throughout the festival for photos, autographs, and stories. Organized by APS Sicilia Promotion, the festival has free admission and is open from morning until late at night.

Sicily arrives in Brianza

For three days, Piazza Walter Tobagi in Limbiate, in the province of Monza and Brianza, is dressed in the colors and scents of Sicily. The Sicilian Festival and Street Food is a gastronomic and folkloric journey to the island, organized by the association APS Sicilia Promotion, which brings Southern specialties, music, and traditions to Brianza.

Flavors of the island

The stalls offer the best of Sicilian street food: arancine, mixed fried seafood, pane ca' meusa, stigghiola, pasta with sardines, and the great classics of pastry making like cannoli and cassate. Accompanying the dishes are craft beers and wines from the island. An opportunity for those who want to rediscover the flavors of Sicily without leaving Lombardy.

Guest Tony Sperandeo

Making the event special is the presence of the Palermitan actor Tony Sperandeo, a well-known face in Italian cinema, present for all three days for photos, autographs, and moments of entertainment with the public.

A festival for everyone

With continuous hours from morning until night, covered stalls, gazebos, and tables, the Sicilian Festival and Street Food is designed to be enjoyed with family or friends. Admission is free, and the atmosphere is that of the convivial and warm Southern festivals, capable of animating the center of Limbiate for an entire weekend.
