SiciliAlleva 2025 in Alia

The 2025 edition of SiciliAlleva confirmed the event's role as a benchmark for livestock farming in the Madonie. In Alia, in the province of Palermo, breeders and producers gathered at the Campo Boario in Contrada Borbone for the traditional livestock show, showcasing the Valle del Belìce sheep, native beef cattle breeds, and the native Sicilian horse.

The program alternated between technical sessions and festive occasions: conferences and workshops with trade organizations and the University of Palermo, the Quinto Quarto Festival along Via Garibaldi with tastings and live music, the local beef festival, demonstrations of wool spinning and ancient crafts, and the traditional equestrian parade through the town streets. Three days that celebrated the rural identity and flavors of the Alia territory.
