Shepherds' Festival 2025
On Sunday, August 3, 2025, the hamlet of San Sebastiano in Folgaria hosted the Shepherds' Festival, a summer appointment dedicated to the pastoral traditions of the Alpe Cimbra. Along the village streets, there were hand-milking demonstrations and milk processing for the production of butter and alpine cheeses, with the participation of local cheesemakers and farmers.
There was also goat trekking, wool workshops for children, folk music with accordions, and polenta cooked over an open fire accompanied by local cheeses. An authentic event, organized by the San Sebastiano Youth Group, which united community, memory, and a love for the mountains in the province of Trento.
