Promoted by the Municipality of Sermoneta, in the province of Latina, in collaboration with the Art'è and Art Maison associations and under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce, the festival reached its sixteenth edition in 2026, confirming itself as one of the most iconic cultural events in the Lepini Mountains.
Origins and spirit of the event
Born in 2010 as a tribute to female creativity and enterprise, the event has grown significantly over the years: from early editions focused on women's entrepreneurship and combating gender-based violence, it has evolved into thematic editions exploring the green and digital transition, art, and, in 2026, Italian cuisine, celebrated in light of its candidacy as UNESCO intangible heritage. Each year features a different theme, but the goal remains the same: to tell the story of Sermoneta through a feminine lens.

On April 25 and 26, 2026, the 16th edition celebrated Italian cuisine with the talk "Food in Art" by Vincenzo Scozzarella, the presentation of the book "Cooking in the Time of the Caetani," a cooking challenge between local chefs and Food Network personalities, and guest of honor Rosanna Lambertucci, a historic television host, who presented her book on wellness. The event concluded with a performance by Monica Giovinazzi in the Church of San Michele Arcangelo, dedicated to women in art.

On Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026, the historic center of Sermoneta hosted the sixteenth edition of the event promoted by the Municipality, led by Mayor Giuseppina Giovannoli and Councilor Melissa Girardi. The year's theme: Italian cuisine, celebrated on the occasion of its candidacy as UNESCO intangible heritage, viewed through the eyes and talent of women.
Two days of free-entry events blending art, culture, and flavors: the photography exhibition by Alessandro Quintiliani and the paintings by Barbara Polisena, Francesca Cinquegrana, and Gianni P. at the Town Hall, the "Food in Art" talk with Vincenzo Scozzarella at the Loggia dei Mercanti, the book "Cooking in the Time of the Caetani," and tastings of Sermoneta pastries and extra virgin olive oil. How to get there
By car: from Rome, take the SS7 Appia or SR148 Pontina to Latina Scalo, then follow signs for Sermoneta (approx. 1 hour); parking is available at the foot of the village. By train: Latina Scalo station (Rome-Naples line), about a 10-minute drive or taxi ride from the historic center.
