Cinema arrives in the neighbourhoods of Seregno

The summer in Seregno, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, has a regular Monday evening event: SEREgno D'ESTATE – Cinema all'aperto. The festival, curated by Cooperativa Controluce in collaboration with the Municipality, brings cinema under the stars directly to the neighbourhoods, with a travelling format that changes location week by week.

A cinema that tours the city

The idea is simple and generous: instead of concentrating screenings in one place, the cinema reaches the various districts of Seregno, transforming squares and green areas into open-air theatres. Among the festival venues:

• Terruzzi and Consonni area (San Salvatore neighbourhood);
• Porada Environmental Centre;
• CFP Pertini;
• Piazza Liberazione (Lazzaretto neighbourhood);
• Headquarters of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI).

Screenings begin at 9:30 PM and are free; in case of rain, they are held at the Auditorium in Piazza Risorgimento.
