Masks, entertainment, and aperitif for the Ambrosian Carnival
In Seregno, in the Province of Monza and Brianza, Carnival follows the Ambrosian rite: the tradition of the Archdiocese of Milan and much of Lombardy that postpones the start of Lent, extending the celebrations until the so-called Fat Saturday. The Seregno Carnival is above all a community event: the little ones parade in their costumes, families gather for snacks and masked dinners, and the oratory becomes the meeting point for the entire neighborhood. It confirms how, in Brianza, the Ambrosian Carnival remains a living and heartfelt tradition.
For those living in Seregno and its surroundings, the oratory Carnival is the perfect opportunity to entertain children in a safe and festive environment, with confetti, entertainment, and the joy of the masked aperitif. A simple and genuine event that marks the Brianza winter calendar every year.
