Selvaggia – Festival of Wild Herbs, Flowers, and Buds

The ninth edition of Selvaggia brought Castelnuovo di Garfagnana to life on April 12 and 13, 2025. The inauguration was held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in Piazza delle Erbe; at the same time, under the Loggiato Porta, the "little walk" in the surroundings began with ethnobotanical experts Ivo Poli, Fabrizio Lari, and Andrea Lorieri.

The program intertwined guided excursions such as the "Little Walk in Search of Wild Herbs," talk shows and performances, the herbal market, musical groups, the pyramids, and the "woodland in the city." In local restaurants, the "Selvaggia Themed Menus" returned, featuring "erbi boni," wild herb soups, and specialties from the Garfagnana region.
