Sausage and Pastarella di Magro Festival

The 2025 edition in Gallese

The weekend of September 27 and 28, 2025, saw the historic center of Gallese, in the province of Viterbo, come alive for the seventeenth edition of the festival. The heart of the event remained Piazza Sant'Agostino, with stalls opening at 7:30 PM on Saturday and 12:30 PM on Sunday.

As every year, the sausage-based dishes and local products were joined by the pastarella di magro, the dessert with a secret recipe that gives the festival its name along with the sausage. Musical accompaniment and the opening of the Palazzo-Castello Altemps and the Marco Scacchi Museum rounded off the weekend, confirming the formula that combines gastronomy, social life, and village exploration.

The organization was handled by the Centro Commerciale Naturale di Gallese together with the local AVIS branch, with the support of the Municipality.
