Edition 2025 — Spring Food Expo
2025 Edition
The first edition of the San Teodoro Spring Food Expo was held on 10 and 11 May 2025, bringing the Nebrodi village to life with exhibition stands, tastings, and show-cooking dedicated to local cheeses and the alimurgic and phytoalimurgic plants of the Nebrodi. On Saturday, the opening at 10:30 in front of the Town Hall featured a performance by the Nicosia flag-wavers and the participation of the Don Bosco-Majorana Institute of Troina, followed in the evening by a DJ set by Le Donatella.
On Sunday, from 11:00, the programme featured show-cooking with the presence of the Regional Councillor for Agriculture, Salvatore Barbagallo, and in the afternoon, at 15:00, an in-depth look at wild edible plants by Prof. Fabio Monreale of the Natura Sicula Association, closing in the evening with music. Promoted by Mayor Salvatore Agliozzo, the event involved university professors, dairy experts, and local producers, establishing itself as a showcase for the excellence of the Nebrodi.
