The 2025 edition

From August 5 to 7, 2025, the San Salvatore district of Vico Equense, in Campania, experienced its three evenings of patronal feast, with the procession, the lights, and the stalls managed by the village volunteers.

The novelty of the year came from the opening evening, Tuesday, August 5: the "Challenge of Challenges," a competition between two pizza makers from the village — Gighetto and Gianfranco — built on two tests, the Margherita and a pizza with a "special flavor" using creative ingredients, with evaluation entrusted to both a technical jury and the public vote. The initiative combined the gastronomic vocation of Vico Equense, home of the pizza by the meter, with the community spirit of the village festival.

The atmosphere of the festival

As every year, the evenings took place from evening until night, with the hilltop district at the foot of Mount Faito transformed into a single meeting space for residents, families who returned for the summer, and passing visitors.
