"With the arrival of June, the San Rock Festival is ready to welcome summer": it is in this spirit that Motta Visconti, a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Milan within the Ticino Park, hosts its music festival every year. The San Rock Festival is held in Piazzale Leonardo da Vinci and is one of the events in the rich calendar of the Giugno Mottese.

Two evenings of live music

The festival takes place over two evenings, opening at 7:00 PM. Local bands and closing acts alternate on stage, covering different genres: from punk rock with Californian sounds to Italian hits and international pop-dance. It is a showcase that gives space to the local music scene and gets the square dancing until late at night, in a popular festive atmosphere open to all ages.

Craft beer and oratory cuisine

Alongside the music, the San Rock Festival offers a food stand managed by volunteers from the oratory, with dinner and bar service, and a selection of craft beers that includes labels from Birrificio Pavese and German beers. Organized by the Rainbow Association, the festival is an example of how live music, volunteering, and conviviality intertwine in Motta Visconti to liven up the beginning of summer.
