Every year, in mid-August, Tezze sul Brenta (province of Vicenza) gathers around the San Rocco Festival, the great village feast that revolves around the commemoration of the patron saint San Rocco, on August 16th. It is the most anticipated summer event for the community, drawing thousands of people from all over the Brenta plain.
A food stand for a thousand people
The heart of the festival is the large marquee in Via Don Antonio Belluzzo, with over a thousand seats. The food stand opens every evening and offers the great classics of Venetian cuisine: seafood spaghetti, gnocchi, bigoli with ragù, and bigoli with duck among the first courses; mixed grill with sausages, braised meat, and ribs, accompanied by polenta and beans, among the main courses. There is also a wine bar with about twenty wines on tap, a brewery, a sandwich stand, a cocktail bar, and Nardini grappas, as well as desserts, a charity raffle, and a lottery.
Music, dancing, and funfair
The festival offers two musical vibes: the stage for young people, with concerts and DJ sets, and the dance stage with a steel dance floor, orchestras, and dance schools. Completing the atmosphere are the funfair and a photographic exhibition dedicated to the history of the territory and the Brenta riverbanks. An event that intertwines popular devotion, gastronomy, and entertainment, deeply rooted in the identity of Tezze sul Brenta.

For 2026, the San Rocco Festival is expected as every year in August, coinciding with the feast of the patron saint of Tezze sul Brenta (August 16th). Following the pattern of recent editions — held from August 13th to 18th — the festival should occupy a similar slot in mid-August.
The proven formula is confirmed: food stand in the large marquee on Via Don Antonio Belluzzo, stage for young people with concerts and DJ sets, dance stage, funfair, and photographic exhibition.
