Edition 2025 — San Paolino Festival

The 2025 edition of the San Paolino Festival, the "Pasquone," was celebrated on the Tuesday after Easter with the traditional procession of "li Santi Casci" on the Rocca of Sutera. To enrich the festivities, the Pitirri Festival, promoted by the Pro Loco, took place on Saturday, April 26, in Piazza Sant'Agata, featuring tastings, music, and workshops dedicated to the typical dish of Sutera.

2025 Edition

The 2025 San Paolino Festival renewed the ancient devotion in Sutera toward the co-patron saints Saint Paolino and Saint Onofrio, with the Eucharistic celebration and the procession of "li Santi Casci" carried on the shoulders of the three confraternities along the village streets.

The religious festivities were accompanied by the Pitirri Festival, organized by the Pro Loco of Sutera on Saturday, April 26, in Piazza Sant'Agata, from 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The pitirri, a dish of peasant tradition prepared with hand-sifted durum wheat semolina and enriched with wild herbs, was the star of tastings and an educational workshop to learn how to prepare it. There was also music and dancing with the group "I Centoquattro".
