San Martino Festival — Scents and Flavors of the Ghiodaro Valley

The 20th edition of the San Martino Festival took place in Mongiuffi Melia on November 8, 9, and 11, 2025. Saturday, November 8th, opened with the inauguration of the contemporary art exhibition "Cielo e Terra" at Palazzo Corvaja and the launch of about 30 exhibition stalls of products and handicrafts, followed by guided tours, a Sicilian cart parade, and showcooking. Sunday, November 9th, featured a charity raffle, showcooking, the 4th "TrinAcria in moto" motorcycle rally, and demonstrations of nougat making and raw milk transformation into tuma and ricotta. Tuesday, November 11th, Saint Martin's Day, included the school event "C'era una volta la vendemmia" (Once upon a time there was the grape harvest), visits to local palmenti, Holy Mass in honor of the Saint, and a convivial gathering in Piazza San Nicolò. Featured specialties included wine, porchetta, sausage, cassate, bread, cannoli, arancini, chestnuts, and crispelle.
