The San Lorenzo Celebrations are the summer festival of Rovarè, a hamlet in the Municipality of San Biagio di Callalta, in the province of Treviso. Organized by the Ente Fiera Festeggiamenti Rovarè, they animate the hamlet for about two weeks around Ferragosto, in honor of San Lorenzo.
Deboned chicken and San Lorenzo gnocchi
The food stand is famous for two specialties that have become symbols of the festival: deboned chicken and San Lorenzo gnocchi, served every evening alongside other traditional Venetian dishes. There is also a fish festival and a dessert festival.
Music, dancing, and solidarity
The evenings are marked by live music, orchestras, and ballroom dancing, while the charity raffle supports the local elementary school. A festival that combines gastronomy, entertainment, and community commitment.
