The village festival of the San Leopoldo Mandic community in Mirano
The San Leopoldo Festival is the popular feast that the parish community of San Leopoldo Mandic organises every spring in the Aldo Moro area of Mirano, in the province of Venice. It is an event rooted in the neighbourhood, centred around the church in Via Wolf Ferrari.
The heart of the festival is the gastronomic stand with dishes of Venetian tradition, accompanied by musical evenings and moments of socialising that, for two weekends, bring together families and local residents.
The festival is dedicated to Saint Leopoldo Mandic, a Capuchin friar celebrated on May 12th, and is organised by the parish with the involvement of community volunteers.
The 2026 edition, the thirty-fifth, of the San Leopoldo Festival is held in Mirano over two weekends in May, on May 7, 8, 9, 10, and 14, 15, 16, 17, according to the calendar distributed by the Municipality. The festival takes place in the Aldo Moro area, at the parish of San Leopoldo Mandic in Via Wolf Ferrari.
The gastronomic stand offers dishes of Venetian tradition, accompanied by musical evenings and moments of celebration for the community.
The detailed evening program will be announced by the parish closer to the festival.
Mirano is reachable by car from the SR245 and the A4 (Dolo or Mirano-Dolo exit); by train, the nearest stations are Mestre and Dolo with bus connections to the centre. The festival takes place in the Aldo Moro area, at the parish of San Leopoldo Mandic in Via Wolf Ferrari 39a.
