San Donato in Collina Fritter Festival

The 2025 edition of the Fritter Festival in San Donato in Collina, in the municipality of Rignano sull'Arno (Florence), was held on weekends from January 18 to March 19, covering the entire Carnival period up to St. Joseph's Day. As every year since 1978, the rice fritters were prepared by Circolo SMS volunteers, fried to order with rice, milk, orange, sugar, and optional raisins, and served strictly gluten-free. The stand remained open every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM until the fritters ran out, confirming the festival as one of the first and most anticipated of the year in Tuscany.
