San Carlo Patronal Fair

The 508th San Carlo Fair was held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Nizza Monferrato, confirming its role as a major autumn event in the Asti Monferrato. The 2025 edition marked an important novelty: the inauguration, at Palazzo Crova, of the first White Truffle Fair of the Alto Monferrato.

The Grand Market filled the city streets, while tastings of cardo gobbo, bagna cauda, roasted chestnuts, truffles, and local DOCG wines took place in Piazza Martiri di Alessandria and at the Foro Boario. The traditional Bagna Cauda Marathon was held at Palazzo Crova, from 12:00 PM to midnight, and chef Gianfranco Vissani presented a show cooking session with a recipe combining white truffle and cardo gobbo. During the day, Nizza's cultural sites were open, from the Campanon to the Art '900 Gallery, and from the Palazzo del Gusto to the Gipsoteca Formica.
