Salone Nazionale del Tartufo Bianco Pregiato

The 2025 edition of the Salone Nazionale del Tartufo Bianco Pregiato confirmed Città di Castello as one of Italy's white truffle capitals. In the historic centre of Città di Castello, the truffle market, show cooking sessions with chefs, sensory analyses, the Village of Flavours with local products, and truffle hunting competitions with Lagotto Romagnolo dogs followed one another. There was also space for families with the Educational Woods and guided truffle hunting for children. A showcase for the Tuber magnatum Pico of the Upper Tiber Valley, where truffle hunting is a living tradition recognised by UNESCO.
