The patron saint's festival of Montichiari, between faith, music, and fireworks
The Festa di San Pancrazio celebrates the patron saint of Montichiari, in the Province of Brescia, on May 12th. A recurring event that combines the religious dimension, with celebrations at the historic Pieve di San Pancrazio, with the popular festival that enlivens the town's historic center.
The highlight is the Notte di San Pancrazio, an evening of celebration that from late afternoon until late at night fills the historic center with concerts, shows, children's entertainment, and association stands. Among the events are a puppet show, musical moments, and gastronomic offerings, in a festive atmosphere that involves the entire community of Montichiari.
The evening is intertwined with the Holy Mass at the Pieve di San Pancrazio and culminates in a grand fireworks display that lights up the sky above Bonoris Castle. Part of the Maggio Monteclarense program, the Festa di San Pancrazio is one of Montichiari's defining events, capable of uniting faith, tradition, and fun.
