A festival that endures over time
The Saint Mark's Festival takes place in Fossalta Maggiore, a hamlet of Chiarano in the plains of the province of Treviso. Now in its 53rd edition in 2026, it is one of the longest-running and most diverse patronal feasts in eastern Veneto: not just a gastronomic event, but – as the Pro Loco likes to say – "not just a festival, but something that lasts".
Venetian Cuisine and Piave Wines
The large gastronomic stand, open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 PM, offers traditional Venetian dishes, grilled meats, cheeses, and a wine bar with Piave Wines, the local wine. The festival spans over two weeks, with events spread across multiple weekends.
Culture, Sport, and Tradition
The program combines different genres: art exhibitions (the "Arte in Vetrina" review), literary meetings and book presentations, theatre performances, dancing evenings with an orchestra, a charity fishing competition, a burraco tournament, trekking excursions, and the "Bicicultura" cycling event. Numerous activities are dedicated to children, with games, workshops, and inflatables (Ecolandia).

The festival honors Saint Mark the Evangelist, celebrated on April 25th, the patron saint of Venice and a symbol of the entire Serenissima and the Veneto region.
