About Saint Margaret Festival
A tradition of over 160 years
The Saint Margaret Festival is one of the oldest and most deeply rooted festivals in the Basso Veronese, celebrated every July in the hamlet of Carpi d'Adige, in the municipality of Villa Bartolomea, province of Verona. With over one hundred and sixty editions behind it, it is a landmark for the community, capable of uniting the religious dimension of the patronal feast with that of a grand popular festival.
One hundred volunteers for the village festival
The festival is the result of the commitment of over one hundred volunteers, organized by the Carpi d'Adige Celebration Committee in collaboration with the parish, the Municipality of Villa Bartolomea, and Avis. The food stall offers traditional Veronese specialties, while the program includes a funfair, a charity raffle, tombola, musical evenings, and a fireworks display.
Devotion and conviviality
The Saint Margaret Festival combines the faith of the Carpi d'Adige community with a calendar full of entertainment, music, and charity. A much-anticipated summer event that attracts residents and visitors from neighboring municipalities in the Veronese plain.
Saint Margaret Festival — edition 2026
The 162nd edition of the Saint Margaret Festival is scheduled for July 2026 in the hamlet of Carpi d'Adige in Villa Bartolomea. One of the oldest festivals in the Basso Veronese renews the tradition with food stalls, a funfair, a charity raffle, tombola, musical evenings, and a fireworks display.
