The Hamlet Festival of Cavalo
The Saint Louis Festival is the summer festival of the hamlet of Cavalo, in the Municipality of Fumane, in the upper Valpolicella and in the province of Verona. For three days, at the end of July, the mountain village comes alive around the figure of Saint Louis, between popular dimension and community moments.
Food, Sport, and Children
The heart of the festival are the food stalls with traditional dishes, alongside a dedicated area for children and the Città di Cavalo Tournament, a sporting event that involves the town and nearby villages. The festival, organized by Cavalo in Festa in collaboration with the Parish, is an occasion for the whole community to gather on warm summer evenings in Verona.
Live Music Every Evening
The music program is one of the festival's strengths, with concerts and tribute bands animating the evenings. Among the guests of recent editions were the band Macho Koala, Figli Unici (tribute to Rino Gaetano), and Diapason Band (historic tribute to Vasco Rossi), to close with music a festival that combines tradition, taste, and fun at the foot of the Valpolicella mountains.
Saint Louis Festival — edition 2026
For 2026, the Saint Louis Festival is scheduled in Cavalo di Fumane from Friday, July 25 to Sunday, July 27. The festival, organized by Cavalo in Festa with the Parish, offers food stalls, a children's area, and the Città di Cavalo Tournament, along with a rich evening music program.
On stage, Friday, July 25, Macho Koala, Saturday, July 26, Figli Unici, an official tribute to Rino Gaetano, and Sunday, July 27, Diapason Band, a historic tribute to Vasco Rossi, to close the festival with rock music.

How to get there
Cavalo is a hamlet of the Municipality of Fumane, in the upper Valpolicella (province of Verona). By car from the A22 motorway (Verona Nord exit), continue towards Valpolicella and the mountain roads to Cavalo. The reference train station is Verona Porta Nuova.
Admission
Access to the festival and concerts is generally free. The food stall is paid.
